Parametric Optimization In Drilling Process Parameters For Machining Of Glass Fibre Reinforced Composites Using Grey Relational Grade Analysis

چکیده

The aim of the research is to optimize drilling process parameters while glass fi bre reinforced composites using solid carbide drill by integrating response surface methodology and Taguchi technique. Drilling includes cutting speed, Feed rate point angle with three levels. responses measured against these are; material removal rate, roughness, oversize delamination factor. ANOVA analysis carried out for regression equations are developed checked its adequacy. R-squared value found be 99.40%, roughness 96.81% , over size 98.2% factor 96.46% values acceptable. Also grey relational grade coeffi cients determined they ranked. optimal parameter nally experiments validated.
